“ We have eaten here a few times. The service is always great. Don't expect anything wonderful in the atmosphere. It is an old fashioned diner. You sit in booths, you order, you get served, you eat, you pay (and tip), you go home. Expect exactly what you came in for hot, good food. The prices are right (daily specials are even better). The coffee is hot. There is a bar on one side (if that's what your into-also exactly what you would expect drinks, gambling and food). Say please and thank you, eat well. The end. ”

“ We went for dinner as a group of 14 without a reservation. Service was wonderful. Fast, efficient and friendly. Delicious soft fresh bread to start. Chicken rice soup was fabulous! The meals was delicious! I had the chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and it’s the first time I have had the choice of three types of gravy! It was great. My husband loved his sauted scallops and they were perfect. Price was reasonable. ”

This place has the best clam chowder I've had, and the chicken strips with in house breading and tender, juicy chicken were delectable.
